  • University Park Campus has been awarded a Green Flag Award for the seventh year running - the prestigious awards recognise quality parks and open spaces.
  • On the Jubilee Campus, roofs are covered with a carpet of low-growing alpine plants, which help maintain steady temperatures within the buildings throughout the year.
  • The first phase of development to create a research and innovation park on Jubilee Campus has been completed, and Aspire, the UK's tallest free-standing public work of art, opened on Jubilee Campus in 2008.
  • Sport at Sutton Bonington has recently had a face lift as a brand new £2.4m sports centre opened in January 2008.
