Campus tours

An excellent visit – beautiful surroundings, welcoming department, well organised visit and good messages from students and staff. Very impressive.
Throughout the year, the University runs a number of campus tour days at University Park. On the day visitors will be welcomed and have the opportunity to attend a welcome presentation (including information on finance and accommodation) as well as a student life talk, hosted by members of the Students’ Union. You will also have the opportunity to go on a guided tour. During the guided tour, current students will show you around University Park campus, taking you to visit the main student areas and libraries as well as give a tour around one of the catered halls of residence on campus. You also have the chance to visit off site self-catered residences during the day and representatives from these sites will be on hand when you arrive to answer any questions. Parents and guests are welcome to accompany you on the day and you are able to collect a range of information and literature about the University from the registration desk. Staff and student guides will also be on hand all day to answer any other questions you have.
Where possible we would encourage you to travel by public transport, but if you do intend to drive, please remember to park in the free orange zone areas shown on our downloadable map, as some of the other car parks on campus are pay and display. We ask you to please clearly display the orange zone parking permit in your car, which will be sent to you when you book.
The next Campus Tour Day will be:
Wednesday 13 October
Wednesday 27 October
Wednesday 24 November
It was fantastic, all the staff and students were really helpful. I loved the environment and you had really good information on finance and accommodation. It was great.
If you make an application to study at The University of Nottingham for 2010 entry and are successful in being made an offer, you will receive an invitation to attend a UCAS visit day. UCAS visit days are specifically designed for offer-holders and provide you with an opportunity to visit your department of interest and find out further details on accommodation and finance.
